How to use your Doctor. You are free to see any Doctors at the surgery and are not restricted to your registered Doctor named on your NHS card. We find it helps with continuity if you see the same Doctor for each episode of illness.

At the surgery, consultations are mainly by appointment via the telephone. The doctor may ask you to come down to see them face to face at a mutually convenient time for up to 15 minutes. Patients should arrive in good time; the Doctor reserves the right to cancel any appointment that is 10 minutes overdue. We make every effort to deal with urgent problems on the same day.

Do You Know?

More and more people are going on to the internet as each day goes by. But do you know how many and at what rate and what impact that is having on the way we inform people? Here is a You Tube video made by some Sony researchers in 2008 which gives us some idea of what is really happening out there and why it is essential that we embrace this technology but also start to help patients and the public to understand information and services better so that you can look after yourself and your loved ones better!

Enjoy (and turn up the volume !).
